Casa-Hogar ALFA was founded in the year 2001 in the city of Huajuapan de Leon, Oaxaca Mexico, to help boys and girls who have been victims of poverty, abandonment, abuse, family violence, and human trafficking. As of today Casa-Hogar ALFA has rescued 169 boys and girls who have been victims of abuse, and neglect. Many of those boys and girls still live with us today and are learning to forgive, love, and to keep moving forward. Oaxaca continues to find itself as one of the poorest states in Mexico and also one of states with the highest rate of child abuse. It is the state that yet still deals greatly with male chauvinism and the selling of girls 15 years old and younger for marriage or for sexual purposes. The work has not finished yet, there is much left to be done.
To rescue boys and girls that are victims of abuse, Family Violence, abandonment, and human trafficking by giving them a safe home not an institution, clothes, food, and education.
To love boys and girls with the love of their heavenly Father who gave His own life out love for them and is the only one capable to heal their hearts through forgiveness./p>
To teach boys and girls to love God with all their hearts and serve others in the same way that He has served us. That they would come to know how much God wants to enrich the world through their lives.
We invite you to make a difference in their lives…so that they can make a difference in others.
HOW YOU ARE HELPING
By joining the Casa-Hogar Coffee Club, you are providing the much needed funding to feed, shelter, protect, help and heal the orphans of Oaxaca, Mexico. Your money will first go toward building new bedrooms for the boys home in Tlaxiaco, as well as providing running water for the home in Huajuapan. Once these needs are met, your money will go toward other expansion projects, as well as toward the general needs of the orphans to ensure that they are safe and healthy as they progress in healing, learning to forgive, and learning to love.
